'fidgetiddies' is the new fashion trend that absolutely nobody asked for

The latest iteration of the obsessively addictive toy has come in the form of nipple pasties. That has got to be one of the most "SCUSE?" sentences we've ever written.

"Fidgetiddies" were created by a 22-year-old American student named Manuela Torres-Orejuela after becoming obsessed with the spinners to curb her anxiety.

"I have ADHD and anxiety so the toy genuinely brings me peace and joy," she said in an interview with Glamour. "Since I am a gender studies major and a vocal body positive feminist on my social media, it came naturally to me to put them on my breasts as an ironic and playful way to subvert patriarchy."

And it's not lost on her how pointless the accessory might seem but we can really get behind anything that helps deal with mental health. And in case you're interested she's provided a simple DIY video on how to make your own.
